Maria Sharapova out of US Open with shoulder injury

Nancy Sharapova has been all over the golf forums in the last few times, what with her unexpected termination of trainer Jimmy Connors - whose period survived all of one coordinate - followed by an abortive strategy to modify her name to Sugarpova as a way of advertising her lovely product.

But Sharapova's time the main attraction may be over for a while, as she declared yesterday that she would not be playing next week's US Start - a competition she won in 2006 - because of a neck damage. This is one tale she cannot sugarcoat.
Sharapova did exercise yesterday on Arthur Ashe with her dad, Yuri, who was performing as a locum trainer. Clearly, though, the research was not a achievements. She had brought out of two latest competitions in Greater and Stanford as a safety measure but few had thought how poorly she was having difficulties.

According to Max Eisenbud, Sharapova's broker, she has been being affected by discomfort in her neck since before the France Start, and it is recognized that she has had shots to try to take care of the issue. The point that the discomfort is in her providing neck - the same combined that experienced rebuilding surgery treatment in 2008, will only improve issues about her diagnosis.

The 26-year-old European said on Facebook: "I just desired to let you know that receiving from the US Start has been a really challenging choice to create.

"I have done everything I could since Wimbledon to get myself prepared but it just wasn't plenty of your energy and effort. We are the first to inform you about this Tweet. To stay touch with Tweeting Sports for latest Tweets.
